Over Christmas break we took a quick day trip up to Portland. This blog is a summary of the I-5 corridor according to the Lawson family. This first picture is Colton's first visit to the
Portland Temple grounds(note the jammies--it's not a perfect picture, but we worked with what we had).
Not pictured is the several shots of just the boys we tried to take and then Benson dropping Colton because his arms were 'tired'.

We also killed some time at the
Washington Square Mall where we HAD to stop a the Lego store. We each built a mini figure to take home. I named mine Bella.
Not pictured is the delicious Cinnabon we all shared...mmmm.

On back down I-5 we stopped at the
riverfront in Salem. The boys had a chance to ride on the carousel.
Not pictured is my favorite part of the drive...the Hwy 99 between Salem and Corvallis.

Here we are at our old stomping grounds in Corvallis. Eating at
American Dream Pizza was a must--the one by campus of course. We colored on the paper plates and tried to convince the boys that Beavers are better then Ducks.
Not pictured is the pizza pie makers who lost our order and finally got our pizza to us an hour and a half later.

We had a lot a fun on our day trip to Portland...but this is probably my favorite photo. My little Beaver fan in his new OSU outfit in front of the Memorial Union.
Not pictured is Colton still in his jammies.

So why are the "not pictured" on the blog...?
Go Little forest animals...beavers and ducks!!
That beaver fan is getting so big! I just wrapped my mind around him being a Sunbeam, and he is already on to the next class! Fun post and trip. Footed jammies are lifesavers.
