My baby is one. We celebrated with a fun evening of sprinkles and flag bunting. Ben suggested this cake recipe awhile back and I took him up on it since he rarely has an opinion on the boys birthday cakes. It was fun to bake and put together--it became a family affair. I am really happy with the way it turned out--just perfect for my little guy. I had to make two of course...one for him and one for everyone else. He sure did enjoy his first real taste of SUGAR!!

WOW!! I love those cakes!! What a great suggestion. And I don't know how that year went by so quickly either. I wish I knew how to make it stop doing that!!
