We had the Young Women over from church tonight for a recipe/cooking class that we do once a month. We started out this series by giving them all binders with dividers and sheet covers. They got to use their creativity to decorate the binders and then fill them with yummy recipes and food prep information that we give them monthly through these casual classes. This month it was my turn to share and teach a recipe and I chose to make breakfast. Enjoy!
Popover German Pancakes
Ingredients:
1/4 C butter
4 eggs
1 C flour
1 C milk
Heat oven to 450*. Stir together unbeaten eggs, flour, and gradually add milk. Put sliced butter into a glass 9X13 casserole pan…place in heated oven. Watch pan until the butter starts to brown—pour mixture into hot pan and place in oven. Cook for 20 minutes.
Cut into pieces and serve with syrup, pie filling, whipped cream, peanut butter, powdered sugar…etc.
