I did it. I am posting the first day of school pictures before October. But first off, Benson and Luther were challenged this summer to read 100 books each.
One hundred books=One big treat of your choice.
Benson accomplished his goal right under the wire and got to eat a greatly coveted Hawaiian shaved ice from a seasonal sweet shop in town. Luther accomplished his goal with some assistance as expected, but his reading is greatly improving. He chose a banana split from the historical pharmacy soda shop downtown.
Benson and Luther are enjoying their 2012-2013 school year, which is already in full swing. Benson likes math and reading 'big books', and Luther is a social butterfly and seems to be in his own imaginary-land most of the time.
