Heaven on a Plate (an antique plate)

This past weekend the bride and groom to be came for a visit along with my mom. We had fun talking about ideas and planning for the upcoming September wedding. Necia has this idea that she would like to have all different antique looking dessert plates to serve the sweets on at her wedding. So we were on an antiquing mission on Saturday looking for eclectic tasteful dessert plates under $2. We had a blast. Plus I made the most chocolaty piece of heaven to compliment one of our meals. The idea came from Bakerella--which I definitely need to stop looking at...it really is literally bad for my health. The above shots are the yummy dessert on the antique finds we made...down below here is the 108 plates we found. All in a days work.

Carmen Made This was in the paper again. This time making my theatrical debut. I was able to donate my time and talent into making the small "Audrey 2" plants for "Little Shop of Horrors" which was the play at my husband's school which he directed. The production was excellent and funny.

Benson wanted to organize all of the shoes into a "U". He has also been dressing up in the most interesting ways...notice the socks on the hands on the shot below. Too funny.
