One really good informational blog that I read is called
Totally Ready.
Totally Ready is a blog devoted to emergency preparedness. "At
Totally Ready it is our goal to prepare families and individuals so when tragedy strikes they will be able to truly take care of their own needs." Yet, the blog itself is so much more. Carolyn Nicolaysen gives useful tips on how to prepare for a disaster, canning and gardening, food storage, how to be more frugal, teaching your children to be self-reliant, and so much more. I am always inspired and educated through her blog.
Carolyn also discusses home business and has recently contacted me about my
'business'. I was happy to tell her about my
etsy.com shop among other things and she has featured me on her site.
Please go read about it. Plus, she will be doing a giveaway of two of my beautiful pendant necklaces in April.
Life around here is comfortable. I've been busy with my
annual home inventory, Benson's preschool, enjoying the false spring, and making
yo-yo's(more to come on that). Here are some photos of some recent fun...

Pictured above is yet another good use for my festive flag banners. Here the Young Woman at church are playing 'volleyball' on their knees using the flags as the net. Fun, Fun, Fun.

Pictured above is a fun activity we attended where all the men, women, and children got involved in some Pine Wood Derby racing. Fun, Fun, Fun.

Pictured above is Benson enjoying his favorite phosphate(Lime) on our Saturday Phosphate Date. We are lucky to have a Historic Soda Fountain in our downtown. Fun, Fun, Fun.
