I have found that with Luther I need to think of more creative ways to implement letter identification and reading. In the afternoons lately we will hold 'Car School'...as far as he knows this is a school strictly for his cars. Lightening, Sally, Mater--the whole gang comes. I ask questions about letters and sounds and the 'cars' respond. The other day Luther insisted that the 'cars' write the answer to the picture question, they did pretty good..
